It has 184 original questions across Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Situational Judgement, with the same section order, question counts and timings as the real UCAT. When you finish you get estimated scaled scores out of 900 for each cognitive section, an SJT band, and a review of every question with its answer and explanation. You need a free account to sit it.

How to get the most from it

Every question is original and written to the official UCAT blueprint, with the question type mix and section order taken from the official practice tests. Before release, each question was answered blind by a separate checker, disagreements were resolved, and the explanations were reviewed. The explanations are written for self-study, so they show the method rather than only the answer.

Yes. The full-length mock is free to sit. You need a free TheUKCATPeople account so your attempt saves as you go, but there is no payment and no card details.
How many questions are in the free UCAT mock and how long does it take?
There are 184 questions: Verbal Reasoning 44 questions in 22 minutes, Decision Making 35 in 37 minutes, Quantitative Reasoning 36 in 26 minutes and Situational Judgement 69 in 26 minutes. With the instruction screens it takes just under two hours in standard time. You can choose 25% extra time if you have it for the real test.
How close is it to the real UCAT?
It follows the real test's structure: the same four sections in the same order, the same question counts and timings, and question types in the proportions seen in the official practice tests. The interface has a question navigator, flags, an on-screen calculator and keyboard shortcuts. The questions are original, not official UCAT questions.
How is the mock scored?
Your raw marks for Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning are converted to estimated scaled scores from 300 to 900, giving a total out of 2700 with an estimated decile. Situational Judgement gives an estimated band from 1 to 4. These are estimates to guide your preparation, not official scores.
What do I see after I finish?

Can I take the mock on my phone?
Yes, the mock works on phones and tablets. For realistic practice, sit full mocks on a laptop or desktop, because the real UCAT is taken on a computer with a mouse and keyboard.
Can I pause the mock or do it untimed?
Your progress saves automatically, so you can resume if you are interrupted. You can also switch the section timers off for untimed practice, which lets you open the explanation for each question as you go. For a realistic score, keep the timers on and sit it in one go.
When should I sit a full UCAT mock?
Sit your first full mock once you know how each question type works, to find your weakest areas. Then use full mocks more often in the last three to four weeks before your test date, with focused practice on your weak areas in between.
